Mono Basin is a post-Miocene, northeast-trending structural depression. A negative gravity anomaly of 50 mgal centers under the Lake in the western portion of the basin, which is surrounded by Pliocene, Pleistocene, and Holocene volcanic rocks. K-Ar ages
