| Comment | The sample is from dike which follows and forms the footwall of the vein at the Black Eagle Mine. Hydrothermal alteration effects the dike, but this sample is unaltered. The vein was from 2 to 20 ft in width and consisted chiefly of quartz and crushed, brecciated, altered rhyolite and other rock. |
