| Comment | Sparsely porphyritic microphenocryst phases include twinned aluminous pyroxene, 7%; olivine, 6%; plagioclase, 4%; and hypersthene, 1%. In the hypocrystalline groundmass, plagioclase represents 40%, glass 10%, iron oxides 12%, and devitrification products 10%. |
